Webb22 aug. 2024 · The Ancient Tea Horse Road mainly refers to an ancient international trade route connecting China's inland regions as northwestern Shaanxi and Gansu provinces, southwestern Sichuan and Yunnan province and Tibet. Horse caravans served as the main means of transportation at a time of tea-for-horse trade, hence the trade route's name.
